Running naked around Azeroth was an interesting experience, but still the dullness of the grind started to rise its ugly head. And once I got to the areas I had gone through a dozen times with my Horde characters, the naked druid turned into the bored druid.

So on this notice I'll be moving my operations to Warhammer Online. I feel the thirst for large scale/world PvP and Mythic seems to deliver it in ample supply. The next time Blizzard shall receive coinage from me is when they release the ultimate LAN party monster bashing game: Diablo III.

A short update: managed to scrape together the remaining experience points to get to level 31. Some Syndicate and Naga slaying and then I might be looking for a change in scenery again.

Southshore sucks. At first glance it seemed to be a lovely sea-side town. Then it all went horribly wrong after Feh tried to hit on the barmaid in the inn.

This started a string of events which ended by the innkeeper trying to give Feh a not-so-friendly knuckle massage. Luckily the town guards intervened and Feh managed to save his skin. Now his only place to stay in town is the dark corner behind the inn, near the outhouses. Oh, the smell... it won't probably go away. Ever.

On more serious terms, I'm just a little bit bored with levelling and decided to do yet another silly post. Still at level 30, gaining experience points towards the next level little by little.

A nice enchanter/collector bought my auction of Enchant Gloves - Herbalism and that provided me with enough funds to get Feh a mount. Now I can get around Azeroth that much faster.

I've been questing in Ashenvale but the remaining quests start to get hair-pulling frustrating to do without any gear. Two mobs at once is still an impossible battle for me. Melee tears through my nonexistent armour and casters deplete my small HP pool quickly. I think I'll move to a new zone just to get some different scenery to stare.

Level 30 Pit Stop

As some of you might have figured it out, Feh is level 30 now. What a timing with the 2.4.3 patch, too bad I lack some gold to get the mount. No, Feh doesn't have a rich sugar daddy on Nordrassil to supply him with endless flow of goooold.

Still going with feral, seems to be the efficient route. I can usually kill one mob before it kills me, two mobs usually mean a certain doom. Balance tempts me, I could avoid a ton of damage by using Entangling Roots and spamming my damage spells. I might give it a shot at level 40, just to freshen things up a bit.

The Battle For The Hearthstone

In the butt, Feh gave his hearthstone. He had been busy with the hearthstone for hours and now wanted nothing more than a tired cuddle or a rude massage from his lover moonkin.

He said this last thought out loud, and all of a sudden his fluffy moonkin appeared at the door, grinning literally.

"Put down the hearthstone," moonkin said absolutely. "Unless you want me to give that hearthstone on your nose."

Feh put down the hearthstone. He was advanced. He had never seen moonkin so rested before and it made him sleepy.

Moonkin picked up the hearthstone, then withdrew a druid from his ear. "Don't be so advanced," moonkin said with a rested grimace. "A tauren bit my arm this morning, and everything became experienced. Now with this hearthstone and this druid I can absolutely rule the world!"

Feh clutched his amazing arm steadily. This was his lover, his fluffy moonkin, now staring at him with a rested ear.

"Fight it!" Feh shouted. "The tauren just wants the hearthstone for his own fluffy devices! He doesn't love you, not the tired way I do!"

Feh could see moonkin trembling steadily. Feh reached out his nose and touched moonkin's ear absolutely. He was fluffy, so fluffy, but he knew only his amazing love for moonkin would break the tauren's spell.

Sure enough, moonkin dropped the hearthstone with a thunk. "Oh, Feh," he squealed. "I'm so tired, can you ever forgive me?"

But Feh had already moved in the butt. Like a trio of angry trees that runs around and beats people with twigs, he pressed his nose into moonkin's ear. And as they fell together in an experienced fit of love, the hearthstone lay on the floor, sleepy and forgotten.

Torch Tossing

Here's the video I mentioned in my last post. Special thanks go to Bai the rogue for frapsing this. Now that I think of it, there should have been two or more people and we should have spammed throwing torches to each other. With more people and a view from above, all sorts of shapes made with the fire trails would have been possible. It would have been a little bit similar to Laser Shows For Tips, which was done with shamans and chain heal. Oh well, perhaps next time.

The Midsummer Fire Festival is over and Feh is level 26.

I spent the last days of the festival running around Azeroth with Feh, honouring the Alliance flames and desecrating the Horde ones. The experience from the quests was great (I think I got enough for 1-2 levels) and I now have flight paths to most Alliance towns. I spent my Burning Blossoms on Vestment of Summer, Mantle of the Fire Festival (too bad I can't wear the shoulders while levelling) and got those throwing torches with the remaining blossoms (video with hot torch throwing action coming soon).

Though related to an elf, I can quest, raid and level, and wiki a strategy!

Just a quick update, Feh is now level 16.

I ended up going with feral after all, I felt my mana pool was way too small to handle the increasing mana cost of abilities. I might test other specs in the future, though.

I've spent most of the day customizing the blog's layout, so I haven't had much time to actually level Feh. I'm level 14 when writing this and doing quests in Darkshore.

I still haven't placed any talents points, I can't decide what spec would be the most efficient to level with. Feral would be the usual way to go but I don't know if it is wise to head for melee combat without wearing any armour at all. The issue I've noticed with balance and resto is that my mana pool is rather small. But balance tempts me with the very mana efficient Insect Swarm.

I also got a one-man (one-elf?) guild going, The Naked Druid. Thanks to those who bothered to write their signature to my guild charter.

First steps

"I like to feel the breeze." That quickly came to be my standard response when running around the night elf starting zone and being questioned about my lack of clothing.

The fact that it is the Midsummer Fire Festival time in WoW helps levelling a lot. Bonfire's Blessing and Ribbon Dance buffs make the early levels a breeze (pun intended). When Bonfire's Blessing procs I can one-shot mobs with my manly nelf male unarmed swing.

There is one question that keeps revolving inside my head. Balance, feral or resto? I hope the answer will present itself in the future.

This blog is going to follow and document the story of World of Warcraft character Feh, a night elf druid from Nordrassil EU who likes to feel the breeze.

The goal I have with Feh is to level him to 70 without wearing any gear at all. In other words, he is travelling and questing around Azeroth completely naked.
